Provide stakeholders with confidence and trust in their financial statements – proving they are accurate and free from misinformation. Audit, Assurance & Reporting Advisory are a large team across New Zealand comprising of over 400 Accountants and senior finance professionals. The team works in different sized project groups depending on the client size. These change throughout the year, so you get to work with a range of likeminded people and learn from others. Your typical day will include: Working closely with clients and colleagues to review NZ IFRS financial statements Reviewing client controls and processes around financial information Reporting and working on behalf of the Auditor General Considering risks in relation to fraud Helping businesses measure and report on their sustainability initiatives Enough about us, let's talk about you. You are someone with: No previous experience is required. Part-time positions or internships in accounting, finance, customer-service, retail and hospitality are beneficial. Currently completing a bachelor's degree majoring in Accounting or Finance, or another major which means you are eligible for CPA Australia or Chartered Accountancy. An analytical mind, detail-oriented, with a passion for accounting. You are able to work as a member of a team and communicate findings with stakeholders.
