The A320 Family Mechanical & Electrical Systems Installation (MSI/ESI) MAP Engineer is a highly technical, operational design engineering role dedicated to the direct technical execution, validation, and engineering authorization of solutions for aircraft systems installations and non-conformities. Reporting directly to the A320 Family MAP Systems Installation Team Manager, the jobholder drives the technical resolution of shop floor non-conformities and concessions originated during the A320 Family Final Assembly Line (FAL) manufacturing process across all relevant ATA chapters. The core focus of this role is the rapid, high-quality technical execution of Electrical System Installation (ESI) and Mechanical System Installation (MSI) fixes. This role covers the full airframe, demanding a broad understanding of the complete aircraft structure while executing the same highly specialized installation skill sets across the entire vehicle perimeter. Operating as a frontline technical interface between the Global Design Office, Chief Engineering, Quality Assurance, and local Manufacturing operations, the jobholder ensures all solutions meet strict Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines, Airbus Design Principles, and continuous airworthiness mandates. In addition to core installation activities, this role is uniquely positioned to provide cross-functional support to Airframe deliverables.
