The team works together with the affiliate and the NHS to deliver transformative access for innovative solutions and to support creation of a sustainable healthcare system. The Medical/HTA Writer has a key role in gaining reimbursement for Roche’s innovative medicines. Working with the Health Economist and Medical Partner, the HTA Writer helps shape the access strategy, write the reimbursement submission dossier to the relevant HTA authority, and provide continued support throughout the remainder of the process, with the aim of achieving a positive recommendation. An outstanding communicator, you will have experience of writing and delivering effective communications strategies to ensure key clinical messages resonate with decision makers Medical Writer: Expectations Support the development of HTA strategy for prioritised therapeutic areas and products Support all aspects of the HTA appraisal process: Attending and preparing minutes of HTA focussed advisory boards Develop and deliver high quality submissions to national and local health technology assessment organisations, such as NICE, SMC and AWMSG to achieve positive recommendations - focussed on the clinical aspects of the submissions Collaborate with health economists and medical affairs partners in delivering high quality responses for the remainder of the HTA: clarification questions, technical engagement, NDC response etc Develop and deliver high quality conference abstracts, posters and manuscripts for prioritised therapeutic areas and products Provide subject matter expertise and strategic input to cross-portfolio and cross-chapter initiatives, with a balance between solutions, constructive challenge, & support
