Responsibilities: In the Applied Scientist role you will play a crucial part in pioneering research and development across various facets of AI, including but not limited to computer vision, natural language processing, and audio signal processing. Your work will involve the creation and optimization of cutting-edge AI algorithms and deep learning models, contributing to advancements in areas such as semantic understanding, multidimensional data interpretation, and human-machine interactions. Furthermore, your innovative efforts will be applied to a spectrum of practical use cases, serving pivotal industries such as finance, oil and gas, environmental science, and healthcare, thereby driving forward the frontier of impactful AI solutions in real-world scenarios. Engage in the design, analysis and optimization of foundational and applied research to power the state-of-the-art AI algorithms and model capabilities at Inception. This will involve staying well-informed of emerging trends, understanding and manipulating complex datasets, and conceptualizing models that are both innovative and applicable to real-world scenarios. Work on comprehensive solutions that integrate various modalities, including text, audio, and visual data, enhancing the AI's ability to understand and interpret human interaction in a more nuanced manner. Collaborate with researchers and engineers across teams at Inception for the design, development, and continual improvement of AI algorithms, ensuring the implementations of such algorithms are optimized for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
