The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a(n) Area Pricing Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Lead area pricing processes for the TEBG business group Parter with the business group Vertical Pricing Leaders to develop optimal price levers within sales districts or through segmentation. Activates pricing processes, including promotions, price conditions, and price changes for the area. Validates data quality using global reports and initiatives changes or ad hoc requests to correct errors. Acts as an area resource for pricing policies, timelines, global processes, tool education, and training. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Three (3) or more years of data quality, pricing, process management in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Certified Pricing Professional preferred Demonstrated ability to understand pricing systems, and operational pricing processes Strong understanding of how prices are lifted, calculated, and reflected in customer-facing systems or communications. Ability to work effectively under cyclical timelines and milestones Work location: · Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week in Maplewood · Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international Relocation: may be authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
