## Description

ASIC NPI (New Product Introduction) leads the transition of complex semiconductor products from design to high-volume manufacturing (HVM). Responsibilities include driving cross-functional strategies for engineering validation, manufacturing yield, supply chain readiness, and cost optimization, ensuring on-time delivery of samples and production ramps. Key job responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and own the end-to-end silicon NPI strategy, aligning with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to meet product lifecycle milestones (EVT, DVT, PVT) Manufacturing & Yield: Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) requirements. Optimize wafer fabrication, assembly, and test processes to maximize yield and reduce costs, including in advanced packaging. Supply Chain & Ops Readiness: Oversee vendor management, contract manufacturer (CM) strategy, and material procurement to ensure capacity and timely engineering build schedules. Program Execution: Lead cross-functional teams to resolve technical and supply constraints during the NPI phase, ensuring a seamless transfer to mass production Quality & Reliability: Guarantee that products meet quality standards and reliability specifications before product release in conjunction with the Quality team Basic qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field - Experience working in a large team or fast-paced corporate environment - 7+ years in semiconductor operations, NPI, or product engineering, with a proven track record in high-volume silicon manufacturing - Deep understanding of silicon wafer fab, 3D packaging, or complex ASIC development Preferred qualifications - Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
