YOUR ROLE As an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor , you are responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Warehouse Operators within our logistics operation in Tilburg. You oversee daily performance, productivity and quality, ensuring all activities are executed according to plan. With your hands-on approach, you are highly visible on the warehouse floor, provide day-to-day operational guidance, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives based on LEAN principles. In this role, you will be responsible for: Leading, coaching and motivating a team of approximately 20 to 25 Operators and temporary employees; Monitoring operational progress, quality, and productivity within your assigned process area; Identifying, analyzing, and resolving operational challenges and bottlenecks; Preparing and organizing the efficient execution of daily warehouse activities; Supporting and implementing process improvements in collaboration with your manager; Reporting performance results, operational updates, and key issues to the Process Supervisor. WHERE WILL YOU BE WORKING? You will be based at our Nokia-site in Tilburg, where daily logistics activities take place in a dynamic warehouse environment. You will become part of an operational team where collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do. As an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, you will work closely with fellow supervisors, support departments and the Process Supervisor, to whom you will report directly. You will primarily be present on the warehouse floor and work in day shifts. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? You are a natural leader who enjoys developing people and optimizing operational processes. As you interact daily with team members, colleagues, and management, you possess strong communication skills and know how to motivate others to achieve shared objectives. In addition, you bring: Proven experience within a logistics or warehouse environment; Experience leading, coordinating, or supervising operational teams; Good command of the English language, both written and spoken; Own transportation to travel to our Tilburg location; Full-time availability and willingness to work day shifts.
