Join to give it velocity. 01 THE ROLE Chemistry is the invisible layer under every critical system, and the supply chain behind it has become a weapon. Ohr makes the molecules that matter most, from the atom up: energetics, propellants, rare-earth extractants and the ignition chemicals already in production today. Ohr is building a chemical prime through two connected growth engines: breakthrough chemistry and strategic acquisitions. Behind every acquisition is a fundamental question: Which industrial capabilities, manufacturing assets, and customer relationships could unlock years of growth? As Associate, Corporate Development, you'll report to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and help answer that question. You'll map fragmented industrial markets, evaluate acquisition targets, build investment models, and uncover opportunities that will shape Ohr's manufacturing network. This is not a traditional analyst seat. You'll work directly on live transactions, connecting rigorous financial analysis with the technical and strategic realities of building an entirely new industrial company. Collaboration is our multiplier. 02 WHAT YOU'LL DESIGN AND BUILD • Map the industrial landscape: Research fragmented industrial markets to identify manufacturing assets, qualified suppliers, production capabilities, and customer relationships that could accelerate Ohr's growth. Build company profiles and maintain a prioritized acquisition pipeline. • Build investment cases: Develop valuations, financial models, and acquisition scenarios that assess both standalone business performance and strategic value to Ohr's chemistry and manufacturing platform. Translate analysis into clear recommendations for leadership. • Power deal execution: Support due diligence across finance, legal, technical, and operational teams. Manage data rooms, track findings and transaction milestones, and develop the materials needed to move opportunities from evaluation through closing. • Build the analytical toolkit: Create repeatable models, research methods, and investment analysis tools that make Ohr's acquisition intelligence faster and more sophisticated. Capture insights from transactions to strengthen future evaluations. 03 WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU • 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, transaction advisory, or corporate development. • Exposure to M&A transactions, including financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence. • Strong financial modeling, research, and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to understand unfamiliar industries, technologies, and business models. • Ability to translate complex analysis into concise, actionable investment recommendations. • High ownership, strong organization, and an eagerness to learn through direct involvement in transactions. • Interest in or experience with deep tech, chemicals, energy, defense, or industrial markets is a plus. 04 EXPORT CONTROL COMPLIANCE This role involves access to data and systems subject to U.S. export control regulations, including ITAR. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, or a protected individual as defined under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3). 05 LOCATION & COMPENSATION This role is remote but will require some travel (40%–60%).
