We are looking for an experienced Associate Director, Computational Pathology Portfolio Management (Senior Program Manager) (f/m/d) to join AstraZeneca. In this role, you will provide technical leadership as an expert in Business Strategy and Portfolio, designing and implementing business processes and strategies and supporting effective collaboration across process and product teams. You will create and develop integrated strategies and work within cross-functional, multi-skilled teams to promote effective vertical and horizontal integration. You will provide strategic expertise across portfolios, help shape priorities and ensure that activities are delivered in line with AstraZeneca standards and relevant external regulations. Key Responsibilities Strategic leadership: Provide expert technical leadership for a portfolio of products and strategies and support the effective delivery of business priorities. Portfolio strategy: Lead the development and championing of new strategies and contribute to the development of the regional product pipeline. Technical expertise: Provide expert technical support to regional teams and, where required, global teams. Governance and compliance: Lead governance processes and ensure activities and processes comply with AstraZeneca standards as well as applicable external regulations. Portfolio management: Lead or oversee initiatives to ensure internal and external resources are appropriately balanced across the overall business portfolio. Strategy development: Develop and implement new strategies and communicate strategic visions effectively across relevant stakeholder groups. Stakeholder collaboration: Network with colleagues and experts to establish portfolio priorities and provide strategic advice based on analysis and portfolio expertise. Knowledge sharing: Act as a specialist resource for colleagues by sharing experience and expertise within and beyond project teams and the wider function. Information and quality management: Ensure efficient and effective management of project information, including the quality, accuracy and integrity of data, projections and information supplied. External representation: Represent AstraZeneca and the Business Strategy and Portfolio function at relevant external events. Continuous development: Stay up to date with recent developments and emerging trends and support colleagues in building their knowledge. Your Profile Bachelor’s degree in science, Business, Project Management or another relevant discipline; an advanced degree is an advantage. Extensive experience in program, portfolio or project management within a pharmaceutical, clinical, life sciences or similarly complex environment. Proven ability to manage complex programs and portfolios, including planning, governance, dependencies, risks and milestone delivery. Strong experience working in complex matrix organizations and collaborating effectively across scientific, technical and business functions.
