Business Unit Overview The Quantitative Engineering and Development (QED) team is a front-office quantitative technology and analytics group within TD Securities that supports the Global Equity Derivatives business. The team develops and enhances pricing models, risk analytics, trading tools, and automation solutions that enable efficient execution, risk management, and client service across a broad range of derivatives products. Job Description Global Equity Derivatives (GED) is seeking a highly motivated Front Office Quant Engineer to design, develop, and maintain technology solutions that enhance the productivity and effectiveness of our trading and sales teams. This role sits directly within the front office and focuses on building automation, workflow solutions, analytics platforms, and intelligent systems that streamline day-to-day business activities. The successful candidate will work closely with traders, salespeople, quantitative analysts, and technology teams to identify opportunities for automation and deliver scalable solutions that improve decision-making and operational efficiency. The Front Office Quant Engineer will serve as a force multiplier for the trading and sales desks, leveraging technology, automation, quantitative analysis, and AI-driven solutions to enable business users to focus on higher-value activities while reducing manual effort, operational complexity, and time-to-market. The role combines software engineering, quantitative analysis, and financial markets expertise.
