Associate or Mid-Level Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Safety, Security, and Airworthiness organization is seeking an Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer to join our team in Berkeley, Missouri . This position will apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to the full range of activities required to support Airworthiness/Flight Certification of various aircraft and external stores for USAF (United States Air Force)/USN (United States Navy)/Phantom Works/DOD (Department of Defense) programs. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including, Associate (Level 2) or Mid-Level (Level 3) Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineers. Primary responsibilities: Critical thinking, problem solving, change management, project management, influencing without authority, & consultation Ability to communicate concisely in text, with metrics, verbally, one-on-one, in small groups, and to large audiences Experience managing, developing, motivating and communicating responsibilities to team members Maintains situational awareness of the overall program and critical path sequencing Proactively communicates with various leadership team/s, peers and customers. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement Level 2: 2+ years of experience working in an engineering, engineering technology, or related technical discipline Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience): Level 3: 5+ years of experience working in an engineering, engineering technology, or related technical discipline Experience in aircraft certification (FAA, Mil-Hdbk-516, EMAR) Experience on multi-disciplinary teams to meet tight schedules Experience on a large project or program which required the use of project management tools and processes Experience with the operation of aircraft systems or knowledge of aircraft performance in one or more of the following areas: aerodynamics, stability and control, propulsion, structures, and mission systems Experience with planning project budgets and monitoring financial performance Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
