About the Role As an AVP - Digital Product Owner , you will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and enhancement of Protego's digital ecosystem, including customer-facing platforms, partner integrations, CRM capabilities, Open Finance initiatives, automation journeys, and digital customer experiences. The role focuses on defining the product vision, managing the product roadmap, delivering innovative digital solutions, and ensuring the platform supports Protego's ambition to become a leading technology-enabled insurance broker. What You Will Be Doing Product Strategy & Ownership Define and execute the digital product roadmap aligned with Protego's business objectives and growth strategy. Own the digital platform strategy, governance framework, and ongoing enhancement initiatives. Identify opportunities to leverage Open Finance, Open Banking, and Open Insurance capabilities to improve customer acquisition, retention, and cross-selling outcomes. Conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitor benchmarking to identify emerging trends and innovation opportunities. Establish product vision, priorities, and success metrics to ensure alignment with business goals. Monitor and track product performance against strategic objectives and KPIs. Digital Platform Development & Innovation Lead the development and enhancement of Protego's digital insurance marketplace and customer journeys. Drive the implementation of customer self-service capabilities and digital engagement solutions. Enhance platform features including policy vaults, document management solutions, and personalized customer experiences. Design and implement customer retention, renewal, and cross-sell journeys. Support embedded insurance capabilities and digital partnership integrations. Collaborate with technology teams to ensure scalable, secure, and customer-centric platform development. Continuously identify opportunities to improve customer experience, automation, and operational efficiency. Open Finance & Digital Ecosystem Management Support the implementation and execution of Protego's Open Finance and digital ecosystem strategy. Evaluate and manage opportunities for API integrations, data-sharing partnerships, and ecosystem collaborations. Drive innovation through the use of customer insights, analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation technologies. Identify new revenue opportunities through digital products, partnerships, and ecosystem expansion. Ensure seamless integration between Protego's digital platforms and external partner systems. Stakeholder Management & Product Delivery Act as the primary liaison between business, technology, operations, sales, marketing, compliance, and insurer partners. Gather business requirements and translate them into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications. Manage relationships with technology vendors, implementation partners, developers, and digital solution providers. Own and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business priorities. Manage sprint planning, releases, and agile delivery processes. Monitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful delivery. Ensure digital initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives. Customer Experience & Data Analytics Analyze customer behavior, user journeys, and platform performance metrics. Identify customer pain points and implement enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and adoption. Monitor product KPIs including conversion rates, digital sales, straight-through processing (STP), customer retention, and platform usage. Utilize data-driven decision-making to optimize customer engagement and business performance. Develop insights and recommendations to improve digital channel effectiveness and customer outcomes.
