## Description

The Lead – Marketing Governance & Transformation will be responsible for strengthening governance, controls and operational effectiveness across the Marketing & Communications Group (MCG), while supporting transformation initiatives that improve the way the function operates across markets. The role will drive the development and implementation of marketing governance frameworks, policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and controls, working closely with relevant MCG teams and Risk, Compliance and other control functions to ensure appropriate governance and regulatory alignment. A key component of the role will be to identify and drive opportunities for process improvement, technology adoption and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across MCG. This includes supporting the identification of relevant AI use cases, establishing appropriate governance and working with internal stakeholders to enable adoption in line with the bank's broader technology, risk and AI frameworks. The role will work closely with the Group Head of Marketing & Communications, MCG leadership and teams across markets to drive greater consistency, efficiency and alignment, while supporting selected MCG-wide strategic and transformation priorities. Develop, maintain and enhance governance frameworks, policies, SOPs and controls across relevant MCG activities. Drive consistency in governance practices across MCG functions and markets. Periodically review existing processes and controls to ensure they remain relevant, effective and aligned with business and regulatory requirements. Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal and other relevant functions on marketing-related governance requirements. Coordinate MCG's RCSA and related risk and control activities, ensuring risks, controls and remediation actions are appropriately tracked. Identify potential governance and operational risks within marketing processes and work with relevant stakeholders to address gaps. Maintain visibility of key governance issues and escalate material risks or control gaps where required. Support audit and regulatory requirements relating to MCG processes and controls. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Management or a related field. Relevant professional qualifications in marketing, governance, risk, transformation or project management are an advantage. Strong experience within marketing and communications, with a good understanding of marketing operations, governance and business processes. Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. Exposure to governance, risk and control frameworks within a regulated organization, preferably banking or financial services. Experience in process improvement, transformation, technology-enabled initiatives or operating-model enhancements. Exposure to AI, automation or emerging marketing technologies and their application within business environments is an advantage. Experience working across multiple markets or regional teams is preferred.
