ROLE PURPOSE Key Duties & Responsibilities Prepare annual tax compliance work for companies, individuals and partnerships. Assist with corporate tax, personal tax and capital taxes planning projects. Support tax-efficient remuneration planning and benefits-in-kind advice. Assist with succession planning and capital gains tax assignments. Identify wider tax issues and seek guidance from senior colleagues where specialist input is required. Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines and service standards are met. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Assist with the preparation of proposals, engagement letters and fee quotations for new work. Support the onboarding of new clients in line with firm procedures. Work collaboratively with colleagues across Business Advisory Services and Private Client teams. Contribute to technical updates, articles, presentations and knowledge sharing within the team. Support and coach junior team members where appropriate. Experience & qualifications Skills, Experience & Qualifications Relevant professional qualification in progress or qualified (e.g. ATT, CTA, CA or equivalent). Previous experience in a tax compliance or advisory role. Good understanding of UK tax compliance requirements. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Strong communication and client relationship skills. Experience using tax software, preferably CCH. Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
