Do you enjoy analysing complex business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and translating business challenges into practical solutions? At Capco, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with Retail Energy expertise to strengthen our consulting team in Belgium. You will have the opportunity to contribute to business and digital transformation initiatives within the energy industry, working closely with business and IT stakeholders to improve operational processes, enhance customer experiences and support organisations in an evolving energy landscape. If you combine strong analytical thinking with hands-on experience in Retail Energy, excellent stakeholder management skills and a proactive mindset, we would love to meet you. LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS As a Business Analyst within our Energy & Utilities practice, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, analyse and document business needs, functional requirements and improvement opportunities. Process Analysis & Optimisation: Analyse existing business processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and contribute to designing improved future-state processes. Functional Documentation: Translate business requirements into functional specifications, business requirement documents (BRDs), process flows, use cases and user stories. Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and working sessions to ensure alignment between business teams, IT teams and project stakeholders. Solution Design & Validation: Support the implementation and validation of business solutions, ensuring that functional requirements are correctly understood and delivered. Consulting & Project Delivery: Prepare analyses, presentations, reports and recommendations while contributing to project planning, delivery and continuous improvement. Depending on the project, you may be involved in transformation initiatives covering different aspects of the Retail Energy value chain, including customer management, billing, sales processes and market communication. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a proactive, analytical and collaborative professional who combines strong Business Analysis capabilities with hands-on knowledge of the Retail Energy sector.
