Business Analyst (Mid-level) – São Paulo, Brazil We're hiring for several Business Analyst positions across different areas of the business. As you move through the process, we'll work together to understand which team and opportunity are the best fit for your profile and interests. Team description SumUp's Business Analyst community turns operational and commercial challenges into clear, data backed decisions. As a Business Analyst, you'll partner with stakeholders across sales, operations and finance, building the dashboards, projects and insights that support better decisions every day. This opening covers five Business Analyst positions across five different teams, each with its own focus, so there's a strong chance one of them is the right fit for you. The teams you could join Here's a short look at each team, so you can see which one resonates most with you. Sales Channels Support one of SumUp's sales channels with dashboards, metrics and routines that help leadership track performance and productivity. You'll also work with the People Enablement teams, tracking onboarding success and supporting initiatives that help reduce turnover. Operations Automation Help scale automation across SumUp's Americas support operations. You'll identify where automated or AI assisted interactions can replace manual work, partner with engineering and product teams to build these solutions, and help keep quality and trust high as automation grows. Onboarding and Verification Improve how merchants are verified across Brazil, Chile and the US. You'll support projects that reduce friction in the onboarding and verification journey, partnering with identity, risk and engineering teams, while keeping an eye on regulatory requirements. Commercial Planning (Sales and Growth) Build the forecasting and investment models that guide decisions for our Sales and Growth teams. You'll track performance, develop ways to measure the return on sales investment, and partner with stakeholders across Finance and Sales to improve how we plan and invest. KYC, Fraud Prevention and Regulatory Operations Support SumUp's Brazil onboarding operations by strengthening how we manage KYC and fraud prevention. You'll investigate operational data to spot friction points, monitor regulatory requirements from Brazil's Central Bank, and support improvement projects in partnership with Compliance, Risk and Engineering teams. What you'll do Turn business questions into clear dashboards, reports and analyses that support day to day decisions Collect and interpret operational data to spot trends, friction points and opportunities for process improvement Build and maintain data queries, dashboards and structured documentation (for example SQL, Tableau, Excel) to track key performance indicators Standardise how metrics are defined and measured, so different teams work from the same numbers Partner with stakeholders across business and technical teams to scope problems, prioritise work and remove blockers Support improvement projects from definition to delivery, tracking risks, dependencies and progress against clear milestones Deliver ad hoc analyses and practical recommendations that support leadership decisions You'll be great for this role if You have solid knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, Excel or BI platforms like Tableau, with the ability to turn numbers into clear insights You have experience supporting or leading projects, including setting priorities, tracking progress and managing risks and dependencies You are able to translate business questions into technical requirements and explain technical concepts to non technical audiences You feel comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across functions and seniority levels, building trust and alignment along the way You are fluent in English and a proactive, analytical mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities Why you should join SumUp 🌎 Opportunity to work with a
