## Description

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to join the Customer Experience (CX) team at Amazon Now. The BIE will own the end-to-end data ecosystem for CX — building scalable ETL pipelines, automated dashboards, and self-service reporting frameworks that track key metrics across the customer journey including conversion funnels, delivery experience, retention, and NPS. The role involves partnering cross-functionally with Product, UX, Engineering, and Operations teams to define success metrics for feature launches, conduct deep-dive analyses on customer behavior and journey pain points, support A/B experimentation, and build anomaly detection to proactively flag CX degradation. Our team combines expertise in product management, engineering, and operations to build innovative solutions that scale globally. Basic qualifications - 10+ years of professional or military experience - 5+ years of SQL experience - Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets - Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results - Experience with AWS technologies - Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills. - Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining Preferred qualifications - Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs - Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
