Our Clients and Projects Designing the future. Transforming the world. Wood has been awarded an Onshore Project to support an International Client operation by providing Brownfield Engineering & Design Services. The Vision of this Contract is to enhance the production & assets integrity across various locations. Team of Engineers and Designers based in Basra and Dubai supports execution of these projects. Projects under this contract focuses on Flare system revamps/re-ignition, Rehab of aging assets, BTEX emission control, Flare Gas Recovery & Replacement/upgrade of obsolete equipment, piping & systems. Provides technical expertise to projects, ensures compliance with applicable standards and codes, and supports project delivery through all phases including FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Executes Assigned Scopes of Work: Perform computer-aided and manual structural analysis and design for all types of reinforced concrete and steel structures in accordance with applicable RoK Standards, Codes, and Eurocodes. Analyse and design concrete foundations for buildings, equipment foundations, and industrial structures in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards. Attend technical meetings and communicate effectively with members of the CSA Group and multidisciplinary engineering teams to understand design requirements, constraints, and optimization opportunities. Prepare engineering calculations, reports, design documentation, Job Packs, and Material Requisitions. Provide input to Basis of Design documents, Design Reports, FEED studies, and other engineering deliverables. Sign drawings and key discipline documents in accordance with delegated authority.
