ADVANCED CONCEPTS is fast-tracking the development of high-technology autonomous systems, including three Medium Endurance, High Altitude, fixed-wing unmanned aerial systems, a family of precision loitering munitions, a cost- effective family of cruise missiles, and a range of guided artillery munitions. CNC Programmer requires to independently program and operate CNC mills, lathes and multi-axis machines using Mastercam 2022 and PowerMill Ultimate to manufacture precision components. RESPONSIBILITIES Independently program, set up, operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis). Interpret complex engineering drawings and convert them into CNC programs using CAM PACKAGE - MASTERCAM 2022 and PowerMill Ultimate. Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies for precision components. Optimize machining parameters to improve efficiency, tool life, and part quality. Perform first-piece inspection and troubleshoot machining issues. Train and guide junior technicians on machine operation and safety practices. Ensure routine maintenance and upkeep of CNC equipment and workstations. Support loading and machine setup as necessary BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Diploma or Degree Mechanical Engineering / CNC Machining • Experience with multi-axis CNC machines, mill-turn centers. • Familiarity with prototyping or low-volume production workflows. • Must possess a strong command of the English language and written communication skills. • Strong initiative to perform cleaning and support activities • Good troubleshooting, communication, and mentoring abilities. • Can-do attitude and proactive nature • Commitment and strong sense of accountability • Organization and diligence in reporting work activities PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Proficient in reading engineering drawings, GD&T, Strong understanding of cutting tools, materials, speeds, and feeds. Able to independently produce high-precision parts with minimal supervision. Skilled in creating, editing, and optimizing CNC programs (G-code, M-code) for multi-axis machining operations. Process Optimization – Ability to fine-tune machining parameters to improve cycle time, tool life, and overall efficiency Verify dimensions, clearances, and alignments using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools. Ensure finished parts meet company quality standards, ISO procedures, and customer requirements.
