We play a critical role in connecting our stakeholders - including our customers, clinicians, healthcare policy makers, and our wonderful employees - to the Roche Diagnostics brand and business strategy so we remain a trusted partner to all. We’re looking for a flexible and hardworking undergraduate who is passionate about communications and would like to spend their placement year working in one of the world’s most respected and established biotechnology companies. You will be involved in a variety of activities to support the team as well as having the opportunity to manage your own standalone projects. The Opportunity In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the Communications team, working closely with other team members to execute our projects and activities. Specifically, you will: Manage and maintain our internal digital channels and help populate our external digital channels (social media, website). Curate, design, and issue our weekly internal newsletter. Participate in cross-functional project teams that require communications expertise. As a communicator, you’ll need to be able to translate complex, scientific information into digestible, engaging content with clear messages. Key requirements and useful skills: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree with an option for a 1-year industrial placement / sandwich year. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (with an eye for storytelling). Strong digital and social media fluency. Great time management and organizational skills. Curiosity, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to give new challenges a try.
