You'll be a trusted advisor, supporting customers through some of life's biggest milestones, whether that's buying their first home, refinancing, growing their property portfolio, or planning for the future. As a Consultant - Home Lending , you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference by helping customers make confident decisions about their financial future. Other key responsibilities will include: Building trusted relationships with customers and taking the time to understand their goals and circumstances. Providing tailored lending solutions to support customers with home ownership, refinancing and investment opportunities. Identifying opportunities to support customers with their broader banking, insurance and financial needs. Guiding customers through the lending process and ensuring a smooth, positive experience from application to settlement. Sharing your expertise and supporting colleagues with complex customer enquiries and lending conversations. Building your presence in the local community and developing new customer relationships through referrals and networking opportunities. No two days are the same, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to learn, grow and help customers achieve their financial goals. Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you'll bring a genuine passion for helping customers achieve their goals and building long-term relationships. You'll also have: Experience building trusted relationships in a customer-focused environment. Strong home lending knowledge and experience within financial services, preferably retail banking. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex information in a clear and simple way. A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and growing customer relationships. Confidence using technology and digital tools to enhance the customer experience. The ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining adaptable in a changing environment.
