What we can offer Meaningful and interesting projects delivered to leaders of industry across renewables and emerging energy sectors Flexible working arrangements that balance client, team and individual needs offering hybrid and remote working where relevant Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion; we are an organisation actively committed to diversity and inclusion across our business with employee networks committed to giving all employees a voice Competitive salary with regular salary reviews to ensure we are rewarding at the right level in line with the market Commitment to continued professional development; development plans that are tailored to your individual needs and interests Global connections ; join experts around the world who are at the leading edge of our industry, shaping the standards of our profession Typical responsibilities In working in this specialist team you will: Perform detailed analysis of turbo-machinery and balance of plant data using a range of portable and online systems Assist with investigations, providing technical input for equipment failures and troubleshooting projects, alignments, balancing, ODS (Operational Deflection Shape) and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) Assist in maintaining and developing client relationships, whilst providing proactive solutions to our client’s biggest problems Showcasing value delivery across early detection, maintenance optimisation and deferments, relating to rotating equipment Drive and implement new technologies relating to vibration sensors and AI diagnostic techniques Manage, implement and improve vibration, lubrication and thermography based predictive maintenance programs including on-site data collection, analysis and determination of recommendations for rotating equipment Execute maintenance strategies and programs for clients whilst seeking opportunities to improve them utilising the latest in data analytics techniques Identify opportunities to improve client plant reliability, availability and/or performance, collaborating with clients to turn to their advantage Maintenance and reliability optimisation: Drive, assist and contribute to maintenance strategy optimisation programs including; RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) and FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis) Work with world-class industry experts who are pushing the edge of technological envelope Collaborate with other teams within VDN and Wood to deliver effective solutions to clients What makes
