The role also contributes to policy development, compliance risk reporting, and advice on regulatory issues. Success requires strong regulatory judgment, practical experience evaluating controls, and the ability to turn complex requirements and findings into clear, actionable recommendations. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced consumer compliance professional to lead product compliance advisory engagements and internal compliance testing and monitoring across Nu’s US consumer banking products, including deposits, credit cards, and personal loans. Reporting to the US Head of Compliance, this manager-level individual contributor will independently assess complex regulatory questions, influence product and operational decisions, and lead compliance reviews from planning through reporting and remediation validation. The role also contributes to policy development, compliance risk reporting, and advice on regulatory issues. Success requires strong regulatory judgment, practical experience evaluating controls, and the ability to turn complex requirements and findings into clear, actionable recommendations. What you will do Product Compliance Advisory Serve as a primary compliance advisor to Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and other business teams throughout the product lifecycle, from initial design and launch through servicing. Independently interpret applicable federal and state consumer financial protection requirements and translate them into practical product requirements, controls, and business guidance. Review proposed products, features, customer journeys, disclosures, marketing materials, and operational processes to identify compliance risks and recommend workable solutions.
