ROLE PURPOSE To support the delivery of high-quality corporation tax compliance and advisory services to a broad portfolio of clients ranging from entrepreneurial and owner-managed business through to larger corporate groups. The role offers the opportunity to work on a varied mix of compliance and advisory assignments, build strong relationships develop junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the Corporate Tax team. Key responsibilities Managing a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance obligations are delivered accurately, efficiently and on time. Preparing more complex corporation tax computations and reviewing corporation tax computations, returns and tax accounting disclosures prepared by junior team members. Supporting on a wide range of advisory projects, including group reorganisations and restructures, shareholder and owner managed business transactions and other corporate tax matters. Supporting HMRC enquiries and assisting with gaining valuable hands-on exposure. Building and developing relationships with clients and becoming a trusted point of contact. Assisting Partners, Directors and Managers with proposals, tenders, networking and growth initiatives. Coaching, supporting and developing junior members of the team. Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and sharing knowledge with colleagues and clients were appropriate. Experience & qualifications Experience and skills required CA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification. CTA qualified, working towards CTA, or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of corporate tax technical knowledge. Experience of UK corporation tax compliance and an interest in developing broader advisory skills. Experience managing client relationships and delivering work to agreed deadlines and budgets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A proactive and collaborative approach, with a desire to continue developing technically and professionally.
