We are ViiV Healthcare. Here until HIV and AIDS are not. Position Summary You will lead and strengthen data quality and governance practices across ViiV Europe & International operations. Working closely with multiple teams, you will ensure data is accurate, reliable, and well-managed to support informed decisions. Key Responsibilities: This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Data Governance & Quality Lead the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards across business functions. Monitor data quality metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and data governance best practices. Risk Management & Controls Partner with data owners and business teams to identify data risks and implement appropriate controls. Establish and maintain data quality standards to improve accuracy, consistency, and reliability across datasets. Stakeholder Collaboration Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including IT, Compliance, and business leaders. Collaborate across functions to align on data governance objectives, policies, and operational requirements. Training & Change Management Support the delivery of training, awareness, and engagement activities to promote data governance best practices. Encourage a culture of data ownership and accountability across the organisation. Process & Tool Adoption Guide and support the implementation of data governance tools, processes, and technologies. Drive the adoption of governance practices to enhance data management capabilities and business performance. Why You? Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Information Management, Business, or Data Science. Strong experience years’ experience in data quality, data governance, information technology or related roles. Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices. Experience working collaboratively across global & local cross-functional teams and stakeholders being able to influence decisions. Excellent communication skills, able to present complex information clearly and tying to data to the commercial strategy. Proficient in using data quality and governance tools or platforms. Preferred Skills & Experience: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Professional certification in data management or governance (e.g., DAMA CDMP). Experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences). Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and their impact on data governance.
