The Detailed Scheduler is accountable for translating production plans into detailed schedules that optimize sequencing, line utilization, labor, and material availability. Coordinating closely with manufacturing, warehouse, quality, maintenance, and planning teams to support schedule adherence and efficient plant execution. Monitoring short-term schedule performance, identifying constraints and exceptions, and adjusting schedules to maintain service, throughput, and operational stability. Key Responsibilities Detailed Scheduling and Sequencing · Builds and maintains detailed production schedules that reflect production plan priorities, asset constraints, labor availability, and material readiness. · Responsible for generating, printing and monitoring work/production orders (WOs) according to the MPS work orders · Optimizes schedule to improve production plan attainment, throughput, and manufacturing efficiency. · Coordinates schedule changes with plant stakeholders to support effective execution and minimize disruption. · Supports New Product Introduction work orders for evaluations / validation and material readiness in production or development stages · Keeps planning parameters in JDE for the products assigned with the frame of the established inventory policies. Also, provides maintenance to JDE to ensure the proper functioning of MRP. · Interacts with engineering to provide support with production orders of evaluations/validations that are necessary for his/her area. · Analyzes and monitors the inventory levels to comply with the goals established in the business plans, as well as to avoid obsolete, surplus material. · Performs daily monitoring of production activities (real against planned), through determined reports and through physical inspection of the production floor. · Maintains priorities while expediting, when necessary, availability of production in process to ensure the maximum level of customer service.
