Job Description: The Tech Center Consultant is responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet a customer’s business needs. Create and maintain effective customer relationships to secure customer satisfaction. Provide the deepest level of product- and technology-specific expertise available to customers from anyone in the sales organization in deal pursuit situations. How you will make your mark: Analyze highly technical information and communicate it clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences Lead technical discussions with requestors and customers, providing guidance and recommendations based on experience Independently acquire, maintain, expand, and demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of HPE technologies and solutions, with a developing specialization area Translate customer business requirements into technically sound solution designs and configurations that meet customer objectives Participate actively in complex technical architecture, design, and sizing activities by identifying site-specific parameters, risks, and constraints impacting the solution Deliver high-quality outputs within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring accurate tracking and documentation in the ticketing system Professionally manage customer expectations, proactively address concerns, and propose mitigation strategies when challenges arise Demonstrate strong technical credibility and professionalism in customer and partner communications Proactively stay current on new products, features, and best practices, and effectively leverage available technical resources Take ownership of additional responsibilities such as acting as a product or solution focal point, coordinating activities across teams, or supporting process improvements Actively share technical knowledge and best practices with peers to improve overall team capability Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to new colleagues and junior team members Perform administrative and documentation activities related to the scope of work with a focus on accuracy and efficiency About you: Bachelor’s degree in IT or from related technical specialty Proven IT background through either job history or education, who can analyze very technical information and communicate it effectively to different kinds of audiences. 3-7 years of experience in technology industry with focus on technical selling Fluent in written and verbal English Analytical, problem detection and solving skills Demonstrate solid technical skills in assigned area of specialization. Good written and verbal communication skills Basic project management skills Good business and financial acumen. Knowledge of effective consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, white boarding, storytelling etc. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for technical documentation and customer-facing materials Working knowledge of collaboration and knowledge-sharing tools (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Teams) Familiarity with social
