ABOUT THE TEAM The Global Defense (GD) team is responsible for establishing and expanding Anduril's international business, developing and delivering the products and technology that address the unique security challenges faced by America's Allies and partners. The team operates across every major theater, pairing deep regional expertise with a sophisticated command of foreign military sales, trade, and compliance frameworks. GD team members serve as the bridge between international customers and the broader Anduril enterprise; they translate partner-nation requirements and perspectives back to Anduril's Business Lines, while serving as Anduril's ambassadors and partners abroad. They shape and capture new opportunities by leveraging Anduril's strengths in innovation, modern warfighting, agile foreign sales strategies, and rigorous export compliance. The team's work spans the full lifecycle of international engagement: global strategy and market analysis; international business development and deal navigation; partnerships and representation; trade, export control, and Tech Security & Foreign Disclosure (TSFD); and the global operations, security, and in-country presence required to execute. The Director, Europe Business Development drives capture across Anduril's European portfolio, with an initial emphasis on Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. You will identify, shape, and win opportunities with European ministries of defense and armed forces, working hand in hand with the Europe leadership team and Anduril's Business Lines. WHAT YOU'LL DO Generate and capture business opportunities. Build a deep understanding of priority European customers, their programmatic and technical roadmaps, and the competitive landscape, and use it to drive capture strategies and revenue forecasts. Own key customer relationships. Manage continuous engagement with ministries of defense, armament agencies, and armed forces across your portfolio, monitoring buying cycles and positioning Anduril early. Cultivate partner relationships. Develop teaming and partnership agreements with European industry alongside Corporate Development, creating accountability mechanisms and driving joint capture. Grow existing business. Partner with Mission Operations to expand work with current customers and use existing relationships to open new areas. Inform product development. Translate European customer requirements and operational lessons back to Business Lines and engineering to influence roadmaps. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years of industry or military experience, including business development or capture in European defense markets Robust knowledge of European defense acquisition, including EU and NATO funding mechanisms Established network with ministries of defense and armed forces in Central and Eastern Europe Excellent verbal and written skills for pitching and relationship building Ability to travel 40-50% ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Professional Polish proficiency strongly preferred; other European languages a plus Experience with complex systems involving hardware and software Familiarity with enterprise AI and autonomous systems a plus Comfortable setting and achieving goals in a complex, ambiguous environment STEM degree a plus The salary
