Role We are seeking an experienced Director of Professional Services & Consulting – Public Sector to lead and scale our mission-critical professional services delivery practice across US Federal, State, Local, and Education (SLED) customers. Reporting to Customer Success & Professional Services leadership within Zscaler US Government Solutions, LLC, you will direct a high-performing organization of technical architects, engagement managers, and deployment consultants. In this role, you will champion an AI-native enterprise culture, driving service delivery excellence, accelerated time-to-value, services P&L management, partner enablement, and seamless alignment with federal Zero Trust modernization mandates including OMB M-22-09 and NIST SP 800-207. What you'll do (Role Expectations) Lead, mentor, and expand a specialized team of delivery consultants, project managers, and resident engineers supporting mission-critical public sector deployments Oversee complex Zero Trust platform rollouts across federal civilian, defense, intelligence, and SLED agencies, ensuring deployments are executed on time, within scope, and aligned to rigorous mission requirements Manage regional capacity planning, resource utilization, billable margin, and backlog retirement while partnering with FP&A and Operations to forecast revenue and headcount needs accurately Serve as the senior escalation point for public sector customer leadership and strategic Federal System Integrators (FSIs), resolving delivery roadblocks and fostering trusted executive relationships Align delivery methodologies with FedRAMP High, DoD IL5, CJIS, and Zero Trust standards while collaborating with systems integrators to scale ecosystem delivery capacity and quality Who You Are (Success Profile) You act like an owner by taking full accountability for mission outcomes and delivery excellence, moving fluidly between strategic organizational planning and operational deep dives.
