Electronic and Electrical Systems Design and Test Engineer (Entry-Level or Associate) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing is seeking to hire an Electronic and Electrical Systems Design and Test Engineer for current and emerging programs in Berkeley, MO. You’ll design and test aircraft electronic/electrical systems used on fighters, trainers, unmanned systems and weapon systems. You will translate customer requirements into architectures, define verification strategies, and help solve real-world integration problems from lab to flight. This position spans the technology development life cycle, including requirements generation, system design and implementation, integration, and test. Position Responsibilities: Develop and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements Design hardware, software and interface specifications Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement Experience designing, developing, testing, qualifying electrical/electronic systems Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Level 2 : 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience An active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months (Add second question - What is the highest Level) Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and architecture Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
