Our Software Development Engineer (SDE) interns use modern technology to solve complex problems while seeing their work's impact first-hand. As a member of the Amazon Robotics Firmware team, you will work as part of a cross functional team to shape the next generation of robotic systems used throughout Amazon’s order fulfillment network. You will work closely with not only other embedded software engineers but also our team of electrical, mechanical and safety engineers to deliver a lasting impact to millions of customers worldwide. Amazon Robotics develops state-of-the art robotics for Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers. We are combining computer vision and custom robots to solve real-world problems at huge scale. Amazon Robotics automates fulfillment center operations using various methods of robotic technology including autonomous mobile robots, sophisticated control software, language perception, power management, computer vision, depth sensing, machine learning, object recognition, and semantic understanding of commands. Amazon Robotics has a dedicated focus on research and development to continuously explore new opportunities to extend its product lines into new areas. Our team partners with a variety of customers across Amazon worldwide to conceive, develop, prototype and deploy a wide range of robotic systems.
