Job Title: Engineer / Sr Engineer - Mechanical Simulation Job Code: - Entity: GTC LIGHT SIMULATION (Central Discipline) Department: PG Mechanics & Simulation Hierarchical Manager(s) Title(s): Mechanical Team leader Functional Manager(s) Title(s) : Senior Lead Engineer /Mechanical Team leader Role/Mission Describe the role of the position Responsible for FEM model building, case set up (Ansys workbench), and reporting. Autonomous in meshing tool and simulation tools. Validate Mechanical behaviour of products by simulation Responsibilities Apply FEM model building, case set up (Ansys Workbench) and reporting Responsible for the quality of the meshing model according to standard check list and simulation request for Non-Linear , Vibration, fatigue, thermo mechanical, and multi physics fields To apply a standard simulation method based on the developing CAE process. To apply a standard simulation report for project risk analysis. Validate the design solutions and correlates the calculations to the measurements Perform Vibration simulations using engineering analysis tools with clear focus on design and development as an individual contributor ● Participate in product and project reviews to ensure high quality in simulation method and accuracy of results ● Present simulation results in project reviews to drive decision making process ● Effective communication of results and issues verbally as well as in written reports form. ● Establishing correlations and validations Other tasks assigned by N+1 from time to time are linked to measurement efficiency. Capitalization & standardization: Supporting methodology development and simulation tools applications. Participate to definition of the best practices and methodologies improvement for current method Store report in TMT and participate in QRQC resolution To apply the procedures and Environmental, Safety and Security good practices, to know, for their activities, the potential risks and their consequences, be there attentive, be reagent, and know the associated action plans.
