About the business area: Retail Banking Group: The Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and micro-business customers in managing their finances, through expert advice and the provision of a full suite of specialist products and services in conventional and Shari’ah compliant banking. The business is committed to driving digital innovation to deliver excellence in customer service. In this role, your key responsibilities includes: Revenue Generation Formulate, devise, and manage, the implementation of the sales strategy and plans for assigned region focusing on diversifying the revenue stream, expanding the portfolio of assets/liabilities and identifying new areas for growth to ensure achievement of sales targets and maximise profitability for the assigned portfolio Portfolio Management Review the identified and reported future client needs, conducting research to source new solutions/enrolment for alternate channels and value added services in order to meet their organisational needs, increase transaction volumes and grow the assigned portfolio Reporting Manage the maintenance of management information systems (MIS) and provide reports/data in order to enable team to track and improve business profitability Acquisition Support oversee the front end teams training, ensuring compliance on policy matters, identifying bottlenecks and streamlining processes in order facilitate the acquisition of new to Bank clients Research and Data Gathering Review conducted market research on market conditions and industry trends; monitor competitor strategies, activities, products and services, analyse against ADCB’s capabilities and offerings, reviewing and approving recommendations, adjusting plans to ensure achievement of growth and revenue targets for the assigned portfolio People Management Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance Manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team and providing formal and informal feedback to maximise overall performance, engagement and motivation Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures and processes covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while ensuring that ADCB delivers best-in-class services, products and innovation Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to contribute to organisational and departmental change initiatives, programmes and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment Minimum Experience At least 8 years of experience in SME Banking of which at least 4 years of experience in managing a team with distinguished transaction Banking product knowledge and SME product skills (assets and/or liabilities) with exposure to SME sector in UAE Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or Law Knowledge and Skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Core Banking Systems At ADCB, we are dedicated to creating a respectful, caring and disciplined work environment that aligns with your career ambitions.
