This position reports to: Finance Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide financial expertise to your assigned organization. Each day, you will compile and analyze various relevant metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of a specific business. The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Business Area in South Africa . You will be mainly accountable for: Performing analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast, and accordingly proposing improvement actions. Executing benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar businesses within ABB; and working with other finance professionals to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance of the organization and identify trends. Preparing financial modeling for various hypotheses and the overall impact to the business unit. Supporting the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the relevant organization. Qualifications for the role Must have qualification of National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree Finance / Accounting / or related fields You have 5-8 years of experience in reconciliations of general ledger Ability to demonstrate your experience in analytical thinking of data and financial key performance indicators Possess an enhanced knowledge of SAP, Power BI and MS Office You are innovative around problem solving and a great communicator within teams Have a demonstrated track record in project finance / controlling You are at ease communicating in teams and stakeholders at all levels What's in it for you?
