Key job responsibilities - Build and maintain financial and operational reports that inform business decisions, ensuring data accuracy and completeness by cross-checking against multiple sources. - Conduct ad-hoc analyses and develop financial models to surface trends, identify root causes behind performance variances, and present recommendations to business partners. - Support weekly and monthly financial close processes, planning cycles, and forecasting activities while continuously improving reporting tools and workflows. - Partner with cross-functional teams to collect inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure key decision data is accurate, automated, and timely. - Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation and generative AI tools, create standard operating procedures, and support knowledge transfer within the team. A day in the life You will start your day reviewing dashboards and reports, checking for data discrepancies and investigating any anomalies. From there, you might build a new analysis to help a business partner understand cost drivers or prepare materials for an upcoming planning review. Expect to collaborate regularly with teammates and stakeholders across finance and operations, whether refining a financial model or brainstorming ways to automate a manual process.
