Front Of House Server Location: UK Resilience Academy, The Hawkhills, Easingwold, York, YO61 3EG Salary: £20,664.28 per annum, plus excellent benefits Schedule: 30 hours per week – (6 hours per day) mix of early / late shifts. Mainly Mon-Fri but 5/7 contract so some flexibility may be required for any weekend working. Early shift – 07:30 – 13:30 Late shift – 15:30 – 21:20 Ready to impact a better future? As a Front of House Server in our UKRA Defence team, you’ll deliver excellent customer service while creating a welcoming dining experience for service personnel, colleagues, customers, and guests. Your role will help ensure high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and service are maintained every day. Whether serving meals, supporting special events, or maintaining high standards across dining areas, your contribution helps build trust, promotes wellbeing, and supports the smooth operation of an important defence environment. You'll take pride in making a positive impact through every customer interaction. What you’ll do as a Front of House Server Deliver friendly, professional customer service to customers, guests, and colleagues. Prepare food service areas and present food to the required standards. Serve food and beverages safely and efficiently during service periods. Replenish food, drinks, and equipment to ensure uninterrupted service. Support cleaning activities, maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. Assist with the setup, delivery, clearing, and cleaning of function and event catering. Report incidents, accidents, complaints, compliments, and maintenance concerns appropriately. Attend training, meetings, and development activities as required. Does this sound like you?
