The Chief Procurement Officer is reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, member of the sanofi executive committee. The Procurement organization is divided into five Domains (Manufacturing & Supply, Marketing & Sales, Professional Services, Scientific & Medical and Digital) leveraging Global Procurement Operations and the Procurement Center of Excellence & Transformation. The yearly spend coverage is around 15B€ with a special focus on Procurement excellence, Supplier Diversity and Sustainability. Closely collaborating with Finance, Business Operations and Business Units, Procurement is instrumental in achieving cost efficiency and savings. Procurement plays a critical role in optimizing Business Operational Impact with a focus on driving simplification, efficiency, and productivity. It forges strategic partnerships with suppliers, prioritizing innovation and data driven solutions. The Global Category Buyer, Human Resources, Outsourcing & Shared Services is responsible for the category of spend in his / her portfolio, 75+ M€, to support the implementation of sourcing strategies according to category management roadmap as well as leading sourcing activities across all business units at global level and lead suppliers relationship management with the Global Lead Buyers and the Global Category Head. In this position, you will manage global sourcing and global demands incoming from the People & Culture Services Business Partners (HR Services) throughout the categories stated hereinafter and ensure proper implementation compliance and consistency vis à vis global / regional and local contracts in scope by leveraging the preferred suppliers panel. This position focuses on the sourcing of HR Services (Rewards & Performance, Learning & development, Car Fleet, HR projects) as well as Outsourcing & Shared Services, while coordinating the building and roll-out of proper sourcing tactics / buying channels (including Tail Spend Management), in line with the category strategies at Global level. An important objective and purpose of this role will be to support both the Global Category Manager and the Global Lead Buyers to provide operational sourcing support and to optimize the Suppliers management across geographies. The scope of this position is global, Part of the Procurement domain “Professional Services” and for all entities of Sanofi Group This position reports to the Global Category Manager for Procurement HR, Outsourcing & Shared Services. Responsibilities Operations Management · Ensures the implementation and operational follow-up of action plans derived from the strategies defined by the Category Management and/or Procurement Business Partners, in close collaboration with the procurement network and stakeholders · Provides support to the Global Lead Buyer of the category to ensure the execution of the strategy and sourcing execution · Delivers savings pipeline in line with targets · Data crunching: Collect, clean, organize and analyze large volumes of raw data.
