Who we are looking for: We are looking for 2027 graduates to join our internship program. This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in contributing to our team as a Software Engineer Intern within State Street’s Global Technology Services organization. Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. We’re driving the company’s digital transformation and expanding business capabilities using industry best practices and advanced technologies. What You Will Do: In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities: Collaborate closely with Product Owner, Business Analyst, QA and other development team members Implementation, deployment and maintenance of cloud-based system and AI related projects based on requirements, ensuring code quality and performance optimization Guarantee code quality by enough unit testing, bug fixing and performance tuning Pair-work with QA to refine requirements, deliver demo to business Work with DM and team to implement Left-Shift testing, TDD (Test Driven Development) or BDD (Behavior Driven Development) Learn and implement best practices in coding and design , and keep up on the latest developments with Java, database and JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS Use AI development tools like Github Copilot to improve development efficiency, write MCP services based on business and development requirement In this role, you will have: Engagement in meaningful daily work : You'll take ownership of specific tasks and projects, gaining hands-on experience and building confidence through real contributions.
