We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative for NRS Winfrith, supporting Amey's work across Nuclear Restoration Services within Complex Facilities. The standard hours of work are 37 hours per week (Mon - Thurs 07.30 until 16.30 and Fri 07.30 until 12.00) What you will do Grass cutting using ride on and pedestrian mowers Strimming and brush cutting Minor arboriculture works Herbicide application Clearing water courses Ues of tractor mounted flail and side arm flail maintenance and repair of perimeter track Hedge cutting and maintenance of shrub beds Assisting client with waste disposal maintenance of tools and equipment Maintaining records Operate light plant and power tools What you will bring: Full driving licence. Knowledge and experience of gardening (in a commercial setting), agriculture, horticulture operations or grounds maintenance type duties. Experience in operating light plant and equipment and wheeled tractors. Understanding of Health and Safety Legislation. Chainsaw Wind Blown Trees (CS 34) CS30/CS31 Chainsaw maintenance and Cross Cut.
