## Description

The application window is expected to close on: 10/29/2026 Meet the Team Join the Acacia Module Configuration team, supporting the accurate and timely release of optical module configurations. The team works across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Sales Applications Engineering to maintain configuration documentation and process engineering changes throughout the product lifecycle. This role works on a team that ensures configuration records, production documents, and related data remain accurate, consistent, and ready to support manufacturing operations. Your Impact As a Module Configuration Engineer, you will review and cross-check module configuration documents, spreadsheets, and system records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. You will identify and resolve any missing, conflicting, duplicated, or incorrectly formatted configuration information. Your responsibilities include processing and tracking engineering change orders using internal websites, SharePoint, and process-automation tools. Coordination with contract manufacturers, engineers, and Sales Applications Engineering is essential to obtain required information and ensure engineering changes are completed on schedule. This position maintains configuration records and supporting technical documentation in accordance with established processes and quality standards. Supporting production ramps by prioritizing time-sensitive configuration updates and responding to manufacturing-related requests is also part of your role. Additionally, you will assist with the creation, review, and maintenance of product label templates and related configuration-controlled content. Providing first- and second-level support for configuration issues affecting the production environment is expected. Finally, you will help improve configuration-management workflows by identifying repetitive tasks, process gaps, and opportunities for automation. Minimum Qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. ● 3+ years of experience in configuration management, technical documentation, engineering operations, manufacturing support, or a related role. ● Applied experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, data validation, and macros. ● Experience reviewing technical documents and structured data for accuracy and consistency. ● Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications ● Experience supporting hardware or software configuration processes. ● Experience processing engineering change orders or working in a formal change-control environment. ● Experience supporting manufacturing operations, production ramps, or contract manufacturers. ● Familiarity with hardware or software testing. ● Software development proficiency in Python. ● Experience with source control systems such as Git. ● Experience with label-design software, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools. ● Working knowledge of relational databases and the ability to write basic SQL queries. ● Experience providing first- or second-level support in a production environment. ● Experience with workflow automation, data-validation tools, or process-improvement initiatives.
