About the role: Sandvik is seeking an experienced and practical Human Resources Business Partner with strong skills in IR and ER to join our team on a fixed-term contract on a parental leave coverage role starting December 2026 until March 2028. Help shape a positive and high-performing workplace through culture initiatives, business improvement projects, and people-focused support across a diverse operational environment. If you enjoy solving complex people challenges, influencing leaders, and delivering practical outcomes, we'd love to hear from you. In this role you will: Lead all ER/IR matters, including investigations, grievances and case management Advise leaders on performance, conduct and workplace issues Advise on Enterprise Agreements, Awards and employment law Coordinate employee representative meetings and consultation Help implement Sandvik's ER/IR framework in 2027 A little about you: We are looking for someone with the following skills to ensure you are set up for success: Experience as a HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or ER/IR specialist Strong employee relations and industrial relations capability Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex cases Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills Strong communication, conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities A practical, solutions-focused approach and sound judgement Experience supporting HR projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement Why You’ll Love It Here: At Sandvik, we are united by our purpose and common culture and core values.
