" Job Description & Summary: PwC India is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Consultant with hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and implementing Data Governance and Data Catalog solutions. This is a techno-functional role focused on leveraging market-leading data governance and catalog platforms to support enterprise data governance, data quality, and data catalog processes. Responsibilities: Define enterprise data governance strategy, roadmap, and implementation approach. Design governance operating models including roles, responsibilities, RACI matrix, stewardship models, and policy enforcement mechanisms. Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, data owners, stewards, IT teams, and business users. Conduct stakeholder workshops to gather requirements, define governance operating models, and align business priorities. Lead and mentor associates/senior associates across data governance implementations. Manage end-to-end delivery of data governance workstreams across planning, design, build, testing, deployment, and adoption. Own solution design for data catalog, metadata management, lineage, workflows, data quality, and stewardship processes. Support proposal development, solutioning, effort estimation, and client presentations. Contribute to go-to-market assets, accelerators, POVs, and reusable data governance frameworks. Mandatory skill sets: Proven experience leading end-to-end data governance/data catalog implementation workstreams across strategy, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and adoption. Strong understanding of industry data management and governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, CDMP, or equivalent frameworks. Ability to translate data management frameworks into practical operating models, policies, standards, stewardship processes, and implementation plans. Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills across business and technology teams. Experience managing project delivery, risks, issues, work plans, and quality reviews.
