Job Description: Job Title: Information Security Specialist Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President Location: Pune, India Role Description The CSO ISTO Cyber Hygiene Team is looking for a proactive Security Specialist responsible for driving strategic initiatives within the Cyber Hygiene Remediation team. In this context the Security Specialist will closely align with the Cyber Hygiene Pillar Leads and external stakeholder e.g. Engineering Teams, Application Owner or Embedded Risk Teams to find holistic solutions and apply them across the bank to drive risk reduction. Handle requests from internal and external stakeholder using existing knowledge articles and other published resources to close them. Coaches others in the organisation, as appropriate Actively supports the business strategy, plans and values, contributing to the achievement of a high performance culture Takes ownership for own career management, seeking opportunities for continuous development of personal capability and improved performance contribution Acts as a role model for new employees, providing help and support to facilitate early integration and assimilation of their new environment Your skills and experience Must have experience and knowledge in vulnerability management or vulnerability remediation support Must have experience with vulnerability scanning tools like Tenable One, Tanium Information Security controls and/or IT Risk framework knowledge desirable ITIL foundation knowledge desirable Should have clear understanding of Cyber Security posture and policies. Should have detailed understanding of Risk and Vulnerabilities and how it can impact Organisation. Should be familiar with Exception Management process and applicable Risk register. Should be proficient with whole vulnerability management life cycle Knowledge and experience Google Cloud will be an added advantage Must be a good communicator, who has a capacity for learning a broad range of subjects and has the situational awareness to adjust communications styles. Must be able to read documented knowledgebase articles and adapt them to the customers situation, calling on additional support where needed. Must be organised and diligent. Professional certification such as CEH, Security+, Professional Cloud Security Engineer etc preferred Good analytical reasoning and problem solving skills Academic Degree or Diploma-level education (or equivalent) in Science or engineering technology Effective communication skills are a must, as are English language skills to business standard Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
