## Description

Tissium is a mission-driven medical device company founded in 2013 , headquartered in Paris , with a production facility in Roncq (near Lille) and an office in Boston . We are dedicated to creating a new era of body repair by leveraging our biopolymer platform to develop innovative solutions in surgery for a positive impact on patients' lives . Tissium's technology is based on research and intellectual property from the laboratories of Professor Robert Langer (MIT) and Professor Jeffrey M. Karp (Brigham and Women's Hospital) , who co-founded the company with Christophe Bancel (CEO) and Maria Pereira (Deputy CEO & Chief Innovation Officer) . We are developing polymers for atraumatic tissue repair in various applications. Today, these polymers are used for sutureless nerve repair , hernia repair , and cardiovascular sealing . Since our inception, we have raised more than 200 million euros , including 60 million euros in new financing announced in June 2026 . This capital supports the US commercial rollout of COAPTIUM® CONNECT , our FDA-authorized sutureless nerve repair system, and the development of our pipeline. Identify and interview key customers (clinicians, purchasing and reimbursement stakeholders) and translate their input into product requirements, positioning and value propositions. Define potential product claims and value messaging per indication, lead claims validation and shape evidence generation plans with cross-functional teams. Investigate clinical needs in depth: (patho)physiology, treatment pathway, complications and existing solutions. Run bibliographic reviews to validate clinical need, market size, value and claims, and feed them into project prioritization and business planning. Collaborate with Innovation & Strategy, Development and Commercial teams on new projects, from concept through development and launch planning. Define scope, milestones, resourcing and budget for approved projects with key stakeholders. Identify and engage external advisors and clinicians to drive program success. Present clinical need analyses, market prioritization, claims and evidence status, and business implications to the Project Team and Management.
