Inside Account Executive - Local Public Sector Description - The Inside Account Executive (iAE) is responsible for owning the end-to-end account strategy and sales engagement for a portfolio of medium-sized local public sector accounts. This role involves developing relationships with acquisition opportunities, managing account strategies, and ensuring efficient business processes, with a focus on local government entities and public administrations. The Inside Account Executive will work closely with specialized inside resources to grow the account. Key Responsibilities Own and execute the end-to-end account strategy. Expand share-of-wallet (SoW) by developing/closing opportunities with acquisition (new logos), retention, & development mid-sized accounts. Drive sales in Personal Systems and Managed Device Services and expand services within the account. Maintain and execute comprehensive account strategies. Identify & Connect customer strategy, key initiatives & HP offering to build outcome-based sales and substantiating business case aligned to customer key initiatives. Engage with executives and key stakeholders within local government entities and public administrations, and build strong customer relationships. Manage pipeline growth and ensure customer retention. Coordinate with various internal departments, partners, and distributors to align resources with client needs. Navigate public sector procurement processes and collaborate with the partner and distribution ecosystem to develop and close opportunities. Education & Experience recommended: Bachelor Degree is required. A background in Information Technology or a related technical field, gained through both education and professional experience, will be highly valued. Spanish and Catalán language fluency is required A good command of English is required. Profiles preference: Engineering and/or Administration Tech Savvy Proven experience in sales, account management, or a related role. Strong understanding of sales processes and strategies. Experience working with public sector accounts, particularly local government entities and public administrations, is preferred. Experience collaborating with partners and distributors within the public sector environment will be highly valued. Knowledge & Skills Strategic account leadership and the ability to act as the "account lead." Strong collaboration skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Expertise in outcome-based selling and crafting value propositions. Proficiency in digital and remote selling. Ability to manage complexity and drive portfolio-based outcomes. Knowledge in P&L management.
