Job Profile Summary Sector & Specialised Lending (S&SL) is part of Lending Transaction Management within ING Wholesale Banking. The team provides execution solutions across a broad spectrum of specialised lending products, including project finance, object finance, structured high-yield corporate debt and other cash flow-based and asset-based lending transactions. The team works closely with ING's Sector Coverage teams across sectors including Transportation, Logistics & Automotive, Energy, Telecom, Media, Technology & Healthcare, Metals, Mining & Fertilizers, Food & Agriculture, and Real Estate & Infrastructure. What will you be doing? We are seeking a motivated, analytical intern to join our Sector & Specialised Lending Transaction Management team in Singapore for six months. This front-office role provides hands-on exposure to executing complex financing transactions across Asia Pacific. Responsibilities: · Prepare credit memorandums and other internal approval materials; · Conduct credit analysis including financial analysis, financial modelling, and sensitivity testing; Assist transaction managers in coordinating deal execution and managing internal and external stakeholders; Support due diligence and review transaction-related information. What qualities and skills are we looking for? Qualifications / Education: · Penultimate or final-year undergraduate student Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics/accounting/ management/engineering (or similar). Experience & Competencies Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Demonstrated interest in corporate banking, project finance, structured finance or lending and/or interest in the sectors that the team covers; Prior experience and/or exposure to specialised lending (project, cashflow-based or asset-based finance) preferred but not required; Good understanding of financial statements and corporate finance concepts; Solid financial analysis and modelling skills and ability to develop and maintain complex financial projections; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities; Self-motivated and willing to work in a deal oriented and deadline-driven environment; Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and professional demeanour.
