## Description

The CMA CGM Group continues on its path of growth and innovation with an unwavering ambition: to connect the world through ever more efficient solutions at sea, on land, in the air, and at the heart of the most demanding supply chains. Launched in 2021, CMA CGM AIR CARGO fully embodies this dynamic in air freight. With three B777s and one A330 operated under a French AOC, we deploy integrated, agile, high value-added solutions to support our customers worldwide. The acquisition of Air Belgium, operating two B747s, combined with the operation of two of our B777s alongside our American partner, marks a decisive milestone: strengthened long-haul capacity and expanded global connectivity. By 2027, the arrival of eight A350Fs will position CMA CGM AIR CARGO as the launch operator of this new Airbus aircraft. A new benchmark in performance, fuel efficiency, and environmental commitment, representing a major step forward in our ambition to build more responsible air operations. But our true differentiator goes far beyond operational performance and strategic investments. At Air Cargo, we carry more than goods: we move your projects, your ambitions, and your successes, within an environment built on equality, respect, and inclusion. This vision inspires every action we take and gives full momentum to our development. YOUR ROLE Based within the Flight Operations Engineering department, you will play a key role in fuel savings and the evolution of our emissions reports. You will successfully carry out existing fuel efficiency initiatives and integrate new ones. YOUR MISSIONS Optimize fuel consumption: Lead the project to integrate the new inflight optimization application within the company. Conduct fuel efficiency studies using our performance analysis and calculation software. Improve the company policy on additional fuel on board. Identify and propose fuel efficiency best practices: demonstrate the associated gains and take part in their implementation to improve performance. Make emissions reporting more reliable: Monitor, optimize and make fuel data reporting more reliable as part of CO2 / Non-CO2 emissions reporting. Establish procedures to account for SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) in our emissions reports. Communicate on initiatives: Collaborate with the Group on communication around emissions-related initiatives, to strengthen their impact and visibility. Any other activity may be assigned according to the daily needs of the engineering office: route studies, pilot software administration, technical studies, ongoing projects, etc. REQUIRED PROFILE As a trainee aeronautical engineer, you are strongly interested in sustainable development and ecological transition challenges. If you want to take on the challenges of tomorrow's aviation, in particular emissions reduction and fuel savings, this internship is made for you. You are rigorous, autonomous, proactive and dynamic. With excellent interpersonal skills, you enjoy collaborating with the various departments, sharing ideas and sparking the interest of others. CONDITIONS Location: Marseille Contract type: 6-month internship Start date: February/March 2027 Join CMA CGM AIR CARGO in this exciting adventure and be part of a world-renowned Group!
