About this role Investment Oversight Group The EMEA Investment Oversight Group is regionally responsible for oversight, challenge and supervision on behalf of regional boards’ investment products, new propositions, ongoing product and portfolio management oversight, sustainability, liquidity and performance assessment. We ensure alignment with BlackRock’s client fiduciary principles and regulatory expectations through ongoing effective oversight meeting with our policies and procedures. Investment Oversight – Performance, Vice President - Dublin The successful candidate will join our Dublin team to lead the execution and continued enhancement of our fund performance analysis, remediation management, reporting and general fund oversight, championing our delivery of value to our clients. Requiring an excellent standard of implementation and efficiency, the role will drive analysis, insightful management information, good governance and continuous improvement. Technical automation, design capabilities and implementation experience in a similar role (for example use of Python, Power BI, R, Matlab, and AI agents) is expected. The position will also contribute to and develop processes and policies more broadly within Investment Oversight including investment policy implementation, truth-in-label, liquidity and fund sustainability characteristics, also as components in value assessment. The Vice President will liaise closely with BlackRock’s Portfolio Managers, Strategists, Risk group, Legal & Compliance group and other stakeholders. Core Responsibilities Operating Investment Oversight processes for fund Performance and Fees Regularly preparing and presenting reviews to management, the boards and/or committees; coordinating with stakeholders in the identification and successful, timely remediation of escalated matters. Participating in day-to-day oversight, assisting the business in translating the highest fiduciary standards into their daily work, in line with applicable regulation and guidance. Generating, maintaining and reviewing investment strategy guideline and performance assessment information across the range of funds to which they assigned, applying those guidelines to their oversight and governance Participate in the Product Development Lifecycle from initial concept through to launch and ongoing oversight of fund performance and pricing Sourcing, validating and analysis of performance data, preparation of presentations and performance reporting for BlackRock governance bodies Continually developing knowledge of asset management regulatory frameworks, in particular with respect to Performance and Price & Value including, understand their application and impact on fund ranges under the team’s oversight Experience Our ideal candidate will Possess over 7 years' experience within an investment/fund manager or leading professional service firm including governance, oversight or regulatory leadership experience Have expertise in EU/UK funds supervisory regimes as well as practical experience translating and implementing requirements into internal framework and policies. Be knowledgeable across a broad variety of investment strategies within a mutual fund format (including active and passive, alternatives, LDI and pensions), instruments, utilisation of derivatives, leverage, hedging and pricing Have demonstrable interest in current markets, fund value concepts and regulatory themes application and able to articulate them to a high standard of insight and understanding Exhibit strong execution, project, partnership and relationship management skills including prioritisation and time management skills; ability to manage multiple requirements and deliver effective outcomes efficiently. Have proven ability to engage successfully with stakeholders at all levels of the business in a fiduciary governance context Be a highly-motivated self-starter, demonstrating sound judgment, strong team ethic, combined with high energy, enthusiasm
