Job Description We are looking for a seasoned Lead Consultant to provide end-to-end technical solution ownership for ONESOURCE GTM implementations in the Japan market. As a primary technical authority, you will ensure solution quality, architectural integrity, and successful delivery for our enterprise customers. You will work closely with customers, project managers, functional consultants, product teams, and global delivery teams across Asia and Emerging Markets (AEM). Key Responsibilities In this opportunity as a Lead Consultant, you will: Solution Design and Technical Leadership: Own end‑to‑end technical solution design for ONESOURCE GTM customer implementations Translate customer business requirements related to Import/Export controls and Free Trade Agreements (FTA) into scalable and compliant technical designs. Define and document system architecture, integrations, data flows, and technical specifications. Ensure solutions align to Thomson Reuters product capabilities, implementation standards, and best practices. Delivery Oversight and Quality Assurance: Provide technical oversight across the full project lifecycle, from design through go‑live and stabilization. Review and validate technical deliverables produced by developers and consultants. Ensure high quality, performance, security, and maintainability of delivered solutions. Identify technical risks early and drive appropriate mitigation plans. Team Leadership and Collaboration : Provide technical leadership and mentoring to delivery teams located in AEM Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex implementation issues. Collaborate closely with project managers, functional consultants, and product teams to ensure successful delivery. Customer Engagement: Engage directly with customer stakeholders as a trusted technical advisor. Lead or support technical workshops, design sessions, and solution walkthroughs. Clearly communicate technical concepts and decisions to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Required Qualifications You’re a fit for the role of Lead Consultant if you have the following required qualifications: Minimum 3~5 years of proven experience in a Lead Design Consultant, Technical Lead, or Solution Architect role implementing SaaS‑based enterprise solutions (ERP, compliance, or trade systems). Hands‑on experience with system integrations involving ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and custom enterprise applications. Strong technical skills in SQL, XML, data mapping, and integration technologies. Broad understanding of enterprise IT architecture and integration patterns. Fluent English communication skills, written and verbal. Experience delivering solutions for customers in the Japan market or working closely with Japanese stakeholders. Experience working in a global delivery model with distributed teams. Preferred Qualifications Strong domain knowledge of Global Trade Management, including Import/Export compliance, Trade Controls, and FTA processes. Prior experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE applications is highly desirable. Japanese language proficiency (business level or higher) is a strong advantage. #LI-SC1 What’s in it For You?
