The Amazon Leo Government (ALG) Engineering organization is a multi-disciplinary technology team established to rapidly address the needs of targeted government and international customers with specific solutions that have the potential to scale. ALG Engineering leads the development and delivery of targeted and scalable solutions for custom satellite and ground applications. ALG collaborates closely with Amazon Leo to leverage the constellation of advanced satellites to provide seamless and efficient communication capabilities to meet the needs of our customers. The ALG Engineering team is seeking dynamic and talented individuals who are passionate about creating unique technical solutions that result in a positive impact on a global scale. We are looking for talented technicians to help the build, integration, and test of the Leo Government satellites in both R&D and production. This group of production technicians thrived in success by working as a team. We are currently in R&D, but moving towards a production environment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working on large-scale programs with a diverse set of talented individuals, as well as with partner organizations (including government agencies). This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance of TS/SCI. This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed. Key job responsibilities • Assemble mechanical/electrical of satellite components, sub-assemblies, and integration of final vehicle assembly fabricating and/or processing materials into complex manufactured products • Build solar modules and solar arrays • Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated • Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems • Identify equipment requirements process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory • You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables • Experience working with 5S, FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements • Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using forklifts, pallet jacks, etc) Documentation & Quality • Maintain accurate work logs, build records, and as-built documentation per quality management standards • Perform basic in-process inspections (visual, dimensional, electrical) and record results • Red-line work instructions to capture
